Date of Event Strathfield Cricket Club: Mon Dec 23, 2019 12:31PM

Strathfield’s 1st Grade skipper, Paul Donovan, pictured returning to the Airey Park Pavilion , continued his stellar batting form with yet another century in the Club’s win over Lindfield. Donovan’s innings of 162 was his fourth century of the season and took his season’s tally to 642 runs @128.

Strathfield chased Lindfield’s 305 for the loss of 4 wickets in only 56 overs. Donovan was the major contributor but had great support from the Club’s visiting English player, Tristen Blackledge (51) and Sean Reynolds (47).

Strathfield’s 4th Grade chalked up yet another outright win that saw them move to second spot on the Competition ladder while the Club’s 3rd Grade maintained their competition lead despite a surprise loss.

Strathfield’s Cricket now has a 2- week break but returns in the New Year with all the Club’s 4 shires teams well placed in the race for finals spots.
